Vehicle air conditioning helps cool the cabin and clear misted windows. We can assess systems that are no longer cooling properly, have weak airflow, make unusual noises or take too long to demist the windscreen.
Depending on the vehicle and fault, the assessment may include vent-temperature and performance checks, compressor and drive-belt inspection, condenser and visible pipework condition, visible refrigerant-oil staining, cabin-filter condition, blower and airflow checks, and advice on leak testing, recovery or recharge where appropriate.
A recharge does not repair a leaking or mechanically faulty system. Where refrigerant has been lost or the system is not operating correctly, further diagnosis may be required before a recharge is recommended.
Vehicle condition, access, seized components, parts availability and the confirmed fault can change the work required. We explain material changes before proceeding.
