We supply, fit and balance tyres for cars, SUVs, utes and light commercial vehicles at our Whanganui workshop. We can help when tread is worn, a tyre is damaged, the vehicle vibrates at road speed or you need tyres better suited to how the vehicle is used and the budget available.
Before recommending a tyre we confirm the correct size, load and speed requirements and look at the existing wear pattern. Fitting includes removal of the old tyre, inspection of the wheel and valve area, fitting the replacement tyre, inflation to the appropriate pressure and dynamic wheel balancing.
Tyre prices vary considerably by size, specification, brand and supplier availability. Contact us with the registration or tyre size and we will provide a current fitted price before proceeding. Uneven wear can indicate a pressure, steering, suspension or alignment issue; we will point out anything visible and discuss any further checks before additional work. Tyre condition can also be assessed during a WoF inspection.
